India could face shortage of skilled 14-19 Lakh skilled techies by 2026
Companies are looking to hire but are running short of staff due to shortage of skilled candidates. India produced more than 21.4 Lakh STEM graduates annually, the proportion of digital skill is less than 1%, a Nasscom-Zinnov Report reported. Despite adding 4.5 Lakh techies in FY 2022, India could face a shortage of 14-19 Lakh techies by 2026.
There is a need in market to fill the skill-gap present between academic-studies and job-requirement. Indian Youth should look to acquire skills in addition to completing academic-studies to become employable and secure a job quickly. Networking and CyberSecurity are lucrative and globally demanding career options.
AIIMS hospital Delhi is latest target of Ransomware
AIIMS Hospital, New Delhi-India was allegedly recent target of Ransomware Attack. On 23 All India Instituate of Medical scieneces reported a server outage and moved to manual operations to help patients. It sought support from NIC and CERT-IN,
Initial Investigation suggests a ransomware attack led by foreign threat actors. NIA is investigating into the matter.
